Casting Call: Candid Casting

Candid Casting are looking for actors to cast in a commercial for a major gaming console.

Actors must fit the description:
– Playing Range: 16 – 18
– Sex: Male
– Location: London
– Ethnicity: Any
– Actors must hold a valid passport.

Filming would take place for 1 to 2 days between the 15th of August and the 2nd of September in Budapest. All travel & accommodation will be paid in addition to the fee for the cast.

Crew Call: 2nd AD for Feature Film

Squat will be going into pre-production on Monday 22nd July with the shoot commencing in and around London on 10th September for five weeks. Squat, is written by David Marconi, who has written global box office films such as Enemy of The State and Die Hard 4. The film will be directed by Nic Auerbach who has made his name as a commercials director and made his debut into feature films in 2010 with The Big I am. This will Scanner-Rhodes Productions & Producer Dean Fisher seventh feature film.

We are looking to bring on board a 2nd Assistant Director. The role would start on Monday 19th August and finish on 13th October. We are looking for a 2nd with experience to work with a highly experienced 1st AD Kevin Westley. Squat is a feature film written by David Marconi who penned Die Hard 4 and Enemy of The State. The production is based out of 3 Mills Studios and is due to start shooting on September 10th

Pay: £450 p/week

Crew Call: Script Superviser for Feature Film

We are looking for a Script Supervisor to come on board. The role would start on Monday 2nd September. You will be required for 1 Weeks prep and 5 weeks shoot. The role is paid 500 UKP per week. Feature film experience as a Script Supervisor is essential.

Crew Call: DP for Micro Budget Feature

Comedy/drama feature film, ‘Selective Listening:’ –  ‘A nice guy with a history of schizophrenia battles the diverse and unpredictable voices he hears, a judgemental society and the hazards of social media as he attempts to make a new friend.’

12-day shoot in late August or September 2013, with two weeks rehearsal. As this is a micro-budget film, we are unable to pay the fees that everyone deserves but principal cast and HoDs are offered a daily rate plus a percentage of the film’s profits. Travel expenses and (good) food provided.

Kingston-Upon-Thames shoot. We are offering a daily fee of £100 as well as a percentage of the film’s profits. Although the film should have an overall natural feel, there will be opportunities for greater creativity. We are seeking a superb communicator who can work fast to create great shots. Kingston-Upon-Thames shoot. We are offering a daily fee of £100 as well as a percentage of the film’s profits. Seeking a hands-on individual with a positive attitude who can find / design & make the furniture, decoration and props required to give the story life and realism. Creative Jobs: Creative England – Press and External Relations Manager

The Press & External Relations Manager will need to be a skilled writer with passion and experience in one or more of the creative industries which Creative England supports (film, TV, games and digital media). They would also need to have an understanding of the key governmental, regulatory and industry bodies in the creative sector.

CONTRACT: 2 years full time renewable subject to funding
SALARY: £25-32k pa dependent on experience
LOCATION: Flexible with a preference for either Birmingham or MediaCity, Salford

Creative Jobs: Creative England – Senior Film Executive (Production)

The successful candidate will be working with both emerging and established talent and must already have significant industry contacts and experience. They will also work closely with the Head of Film in developing new sources of public and private investment to extend Creative England’s activities in this area.

CONTRACT: Full-time, fixed term engagement to December 2015 (renewable subject to funding)
SALARY: £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience
LOCATION: Based out of London, Creative England can offer office accommodation in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, and Brighton.
