At a time when securing funding for film is difficult, producers need all the help they can get. Imagine presenting stills of your production before it has been made. Key scenes shot on the location you want to stage them and with production values and aesthetics synonymous to what you envision for the final film.
Illustrated storyboards cannot give the level of clarity and detail that can be offered by photographic stills. Giving investors the ability to see production stills before the film is made allows them to see exactly what they are funding, making them much more likely to support your film.
Photographic storyboards utilising the actual cast, locations and cinematic aesthetics planned for the film not only provide marketing material to investors, but can then also be used for poster work and advertising once the film is released, saving you money on creating further promotional material.
